Disassembly and Cleaning

Our technicians tear down each unit completely.  All bearings and seals are discarded and all other components are ran through our industrial cleaning washers and saturation tanks they are cleaned and able to be inspected for quality before remanufacturing.

After a thorough cleaning, we have dedicated inspectors who go through component to verify it matches our internal and OE specifications.  If anything does not match our strict guidelines, it gets recycled or exported. 

 

Remanufacturing

Our on-site parts department preps each unit to maximize our remanufacturing efficiency. We have heavily invested in tooling to set a new standard of remanufacturing.  Torque guns are used for assembly rather than impacts to ensure the correct pre-load.  We also use presses with custom-made spacers rather than impacts.  Bearings are pressed with in-house tooling and drivers for accuracy rather than heating and tapping, which can fracture the bearing.  Each unit recieves a new bearing kit and spacer.

Testing

Each unit goes through a two-step inspection process.  Multiple steps allows for several eyes on each unit to best catch any potential faults before the unit is shipped.  Bench inspections preinspect each unit through a standardized 35-point checklist before heading to final inspections.  The final inspection is a rigourous 80-point checklist with computer guidance for accuracy.
